We are now in our 12th year of trading and will continue to offer that “something special” essential when bride and groom are planning their very special occasion.

We ask the question “would you expect us to be very critical when choosing our suppliers or when selecting the items we stock?”

We think your answer would be “yes” so before any supplier can deal with Proposals Bridalwear or before any new item is stocked they are put through the most stringent of quality and reliability examinations. Once selected a supplier must maintain these high standards or risk being replaced by other suppliers.

At our Swinton boutique we have a superb range of ladies and gents wedding wear and accessories. Many wedding shops review their range of dresses just once a year but not Proposals for Gilly and Rod ring the changes on an ongoing basis. All items are individually selected, with new designers, styles and colours chosen to suit today’s demands. New items are being introduced on a regular basis.

Choice of material includes polyester, satin, taffeta, crepe, organza and the very finest of silks. These materials are sourced from Italy, India, Thailand, China, Malaysia and the UK and are available in a variety of colours.

Gilly and Rod understand that colour coordination is paramount and will work with both the bride and the groom to ensure that everything is to their satisfaction. Those little touches can mean so much.

Gowns are supplied “made to measure” and will, when ready for the big day, be individually bagged. We even include a very special “congratulations” card.
